Hi I'm Jen Shtab, Founder of The Soul Shine Studio. I’ve always been drawn to the places where people come alive through creativity, connection, meaningful conversation and the stories that shape us. Before The Soul Shine Studio, I spent more than 20 years in the nonprofit world working in violence prevention, training and advocacy. That work gave me a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit and for the many ways people carry strength, courage, grief, love and hope through their lives.

In 2014, I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease. At the time, I was exhausted, uninspired and increasingly aware that the pace and structure of my life were no longer working for me. I began digging into the work of Danielle LaPorte and, in particular, the idea of building a life around how I wanted to feel rather than simply what I wanted to accomplish. It changed the way I thought about work, success and the kind of life I wanted to create. A few years later, in 2017, The Soul Shine Studio was born. It began as Soul Shine Hand Stamped Rings made one piece at a time. What I could not have known then was how much the people I met along the way would shape the meaning of this business.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating thousands of pieces for people celebrating births, graduations, marriages, friendships, new beginnings and everyday moments of joy. I’ve also created jewelry to honor people we miss, difficult chapters survived, words that became lifelines, and reminders of strength someone needed to carry with them. Again and again, I’ve been trusted with the stories behind the jewelry. And somewhere along the way, Soul Shine evolved. It became less about asking, “What makes your soul shine?” and more about recognizing all the things already worth honoring: the people you love, the moments that matter, the milestones you’ve reached, the memories you want to keep close and the strength and courage you’ve discovered along the way.

Today, The Soul Shine Studio creates personalized jewelry and gifts using both hand stamping and laser engraving, allowing names, dates, meaningful words, handwriting, drawings and other personal details to become keepsakes designed to help you celebrate, honor and stay connected to what matters most. I believe your story is worth wearing. And after all these years of listening to your stories, I believe that more deeply than ever.
